It is also possible to produce electricity on a smaller scale: micropower.
Using a Coanda intake, a small pipe and small turbines it is very simple to produce electricity in the range of 0-10kW.
Electricity demand for a typical household with annual consumption of 20,000kWh is on average 2.5kW. Demand varies in the course of the day / year, as does the available resource from the rain, but if you have a stream on your property that you are considering using to produce electricity, do make contact.
